Short Bio:
Natalie Wong is a writer from Hong Kong who writes about the magical and horrifying things that happen when people can't express themselves. She is an MFA candidate in the University of Washington-Seattle’s Creative Writing Program. Her work has been supported by the Tin House Workshop, and her work appears in Five Minutes, The Apostrophe and elsewhere.

Natalie Wong is a writer from Hong Kong who writes about the magical and horrifying things that happen when people cannot express themselves. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Writing for Screen and Television program. Shortly after, she began developing original TV projects in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and the US with Imagine Entertainment and Hong Kong-based production and development company Sixty Percent Productions. Her feature screenplay "Gor Gor" was recognized as a quarterfinalist by the 2023 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting and a second rounder of the 2023 Sundance Feature Film Development Track. In 2024, she was selected for the Tin House Winter Workshop in short story and was mentored by author Farah Ali. Most recently, Natalie wrote the comic series "Re:Trailer Trash" which reached 20 million views on webcomics platform WEBTOON, and reached Top 3 in the Drama Originals category. Her short fiction and nonfiction work has been published in various journals, such as The Apostrophe, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, and Five Minutes. Natalie is currently a MFA candidate in the University of Washington-Seattle’s Creative Writing Program in the Prose track.
